Seattle Seahawks Tickets

Seattle Professional Football inc., a business community led by Ned Skinner and Herman Sarkowsky, announce its intent to have a National Football League franchise for the city of Seattle, Washington. The request was granted two years later and announced the official signing of the franchise agreement and in 1976; the Seahawks played their first game. The unnamed team announces a public naming contest and gained almost 20,000 entries and the name Seattle Seahawk was selected.

Head coach Chuck Knox was hired in 1983 to guide the Seattle Seahawks. The team was led by running back Curt Warner and produced the first of his 1,000-yard season with the Seahawks. The team earned their first appearance in the playoffs in 1983 and quarterback Dave Krieg became one of the leagues most skilled passers. With Rhodes and some addition to the team, the Seahawks collected a club-record of 12 victories in 1984.

The Seahawks may have improved last season, breaking their 2006 record of 9-7 to 10-6 in 2007, but they aim for more. Led by Matt Hasselbeck, the Seattle Seahawk will thrive to grab again the NFC west division title and go deeper into the playoffs. This upcoming season will also be the last for head coach Mike Holmgren, with Jim Mora taking over the team at the end of 2008.

Having Shaun Alexander in the injured list will not be the reason for fans to miss the Seahawks games.   Hasselbeck will still be there and will try to work on what he has left in the receiving corps. Grab your Seattle Seahawks tickets now and watch them fly high at Qwest Field.
